1. System maintenance and development:
- Maintain and enhance the core insurance system (COBOL language, Smart/400).
- Run periodic batch jobs to update core insurance data and generate reports.
- Extract data and reports from the insurance system for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Communicate with end-users to analyze requests and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Assess, clarify, and document requirements from business departments for system upgrades. Oversee project implementation, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Work directly with outsourced consultants on relevant insurance projects.
- Explore and operate core insurance applications.
- Provide production issue support for the core insurance system.
- Develop new functions based on business requirements.
2. Project participation:
- Collaborate on IT projects to support the company's business objectives.
3. IT help desk support:
- Address IT issues and troubleshoot problems related.
